Core Elements

The core comprises of all the key elements of Design and Communication Graphics. The core will give students a thorough understanding of the principles of plane and descriptive geometry and the communication of design and computer graphics. There is no designated order in which the elements are to be taught. An integrative approach where links are established between each of the elements of the core where possible would be most beneficial.

The options are five distinct areas of Design and Communication Graphics each with a basis in the core providing the student with the opportunity to study particular aspects of the course in more detail. Students must study two of the five options in addition to the core.
