Following on from the successful awards event last year, the TechnoTeachers Association will hold this year’s awards in GMIT on Saturday 3rd March at 11am. This event provides the Association an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of student who excel in the technological subjects in the state exams, and also their teachers. Well done to all awardees and their teachers.Further details of the awardees and photos will be on the website shortly after the awards.

On the 21st and 22nd of October last the TechnoTeachers Association held an extremely successful Conference and AGM in the Marriott, Ashbourne, Co Meath. The conference was well attended, a record attendence and enjoyed by members and exhibitors. Workshops detailing woodturning, carving and model making along with seminars on ecological building and Passive House technologies were well received by teachers. A wide array of resources were supplied to members, including a choice of A3 or A4 leather bound zip up folder, safety posters and building details.
