The Mayo Branch will hold its AGM and presentations on both the MTW & DCG briefs 2009/10 in Mayo Education Centre, Castlebar at 7.30pm sharp on Monday 16th November 2009.
The Mayo Branch officers are: Chairperson - Patrick Mc Namara, Rice College. Secretary - Liam Fallon, St Geralds. Treasurer - Cathal Prior (Retiring), St. Tiernans. Asst. Chairperson - Tony Harrison, Gortnor Abbey. Asst. Secretary - Padraic Hughes, Rice College. Asst. Treasurer - Jimmy Kissane, Lacken Cross. Recent Activities. We thank them for their lifelong commitment and dedication to the subjects. A medal presentation took place last friday night 26th January in the Broken Jug, Ballina. The teachers retiring were: Tommy Butler ( Davitt College, Castlebar) Paddy Gaughan (St. Tiernan', Crossmolina) Cecil Mc Donnell (Convent, Belmullet) Padraig McNeely (Lacken Cross, Voc. Sch.) |
